Well if you want some recipes let me know!

Heck yes.

My default base is 50% cottage cheese and 50% greek yogurt. (I do 1% or 2% fat cottage cheese, whichever is on sale. And I do vanilla yogurt usually.) I then add either 200g of a protein drink (Slate, Premier, whatever), or almond milk mixed with protein powder. Then I add whatever flavor I'm after. Cocoa? Cheesecake flavor drops? PB 2? Vanilla extract? 0-sugar pudding mixes? All work great. Blend until smooth. Freeze. Spin in the "Lite" setting after 24 hours. Add a little more (milk/water/almond milk — 30g or so?) and "Respin." Do that once more if it still looks crumbly, otherwise eat. Also: The machine is insanely loud.

I sometimes add Splenda to the mix as well. I always add a little salt.

Iiiinteresting! How much "base" do you need? Do you weigh that?

Oh sorry. 100g of each. 200g total.

Ok so 200g base + 200g protein drink + flavor.

Yes

Here's the one I'm about to make

Handwritten card with gram weights for the batch

Let's say I wanna do PB + Chocolate - how much of those do you add?

So in that case I did more protein shake and less almond milk to get to 200

I experiment! Recently 10g pb2. 5-10g cocoa.

Yum.

I might need more of these pint containers

also I always run the pint under hot water first. I have two. I'll likely get a third.

First as in before you add the ingredients, before you pop it in the machine, or before you eat?

Before I pop in machine

I run under warm water for 20-30 seconds

So quiet

Jeepers. You weren't kidding.

Still going

I'll show you the "crumbly" look and the final step too

Ok! It doesn't run super long, right?

A minute or so tops

Respinning now. Which is quieter.

But still loud.

It comes out crumbly like that because of the protein, but that's as much of the science as I understand

This will need one more respin and then I'll send final photo

This is so helpful. I'm excited to make some ice cream.

None of it is super complicated and it takes like two minutes to learn, but I had to assemble this from a bunch of different websites to master it

I know you told me it was loud. And you even sent me a video to illustrate how loud it was. I was not prepared for how. freaking. loud. this thing is.

Hilariously hilariously loud
