Got a question, a bug report, or a feature request for Gnome? Send it along. Lex replies personally — usually within two business days.
Does Gnome collect any of my personal information?
No. Gnome doesn't ask for an account, doesn't ask for your name, and doesn't tie any data to your identity. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What is the anonymous telemetry?
Gnome may send anonymous, aggregate usage information back to the server — counts of things like “a search was performed” or “the app launched” — to help Lex understand which features get used. None of it is tied to you, and you can turn it off in the app's settings.
How do I report a bug?
Use the form above. If you can, include the device you're on, the version of Gnome you're running, and what you did right before the bug happened. Screenshots are welcome — reply to Lex's confirmation email with the attachment.
Can I email directly instead?
Sure: lex@lexfriedman.com. The form just routes there with a tidier subject line.
