None. LexShell does not require an account and does not collect personal information. We do not ask for — or receive — your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not link anything to your Apple ID, your device ID, your advertising identifier, or any other identifier that could be used to recognize you.
No analytics, no telemetry, no trackingThe app contains no analytics SDKs, no third-party tracking, and no usage telemetry. It does not log which hosts you connect to, what commands you type, or what appears in your terminal, and it sends no record of any of that to us or to anyone else. We do not operate a server that receives data from the app, and there is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing being sent.
Your hosts, credentials, and sessionsThe connection details you enter — host names, addresses, usernames, passwords, and private keys — are stored locally on your device and are used only to open the connections you request. They are never transmitted to us. The contents of your terminal sessions exist only between your device and the server you connected to; we cannot see them, and we would have no way to.
SSH connections go directWhen you connect to a server, your device talks to that server directly over SSH. There is no relay, proxy, or intermediary of ours in the path. What the servers you connect to do with their own connection logs is between you and whoever runs those servers (which, we suspect, is usually you).
Local network discoveryLexShell can list SSH hosts that advertise themselves on your local network (via Bonjour). That discovery happens entirely on your device, on your network. The list of discovered machines is not stored beyond what you choose to save, and it is never sent anywhere.
Information stored on your deviceYour saved hosts, your color-scheme choice, and your other app preferences are stored locally on your device using the operating system’s standard on-device storage. This information never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed when you delete the app.

California Online Privacy Protection Act ComplianceWe comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not distribute personal information to outside parties — primarily because we don’t collect any to begin with.
Information for European Union usersBecause LexShell does not collect personal data, GDPR data-subject requests (access, deletion, portability) would return nothing about you. Any non-personal, on-device information stays on your device.
