Quick answers

Does LexShell collect any of my personal information?

No. LexShell doesn't ask for an account, has no analytics, and no telemetry of any kind. Your hosts, keys, and passwords stay on your device, and your SSH connections go straight from your phone to your servers — there's no server of ours in between. See the Privacy Policy for details.

My server doesn't show up under “On Your Network.”

LexShell discovers hosts that advertise SSH via Bonjour on your local network. Machines that don't advertise (most cloud servers, for instance) won't appear there — just add them manually with the + button and they'll live in your Saved list.

How do I report a bug?

Use the form above. If you can, include the device you're on, the version of LexShell you're running, and what you did right before the bug happened. Screenshots are welcome — reply to Lex's confirmation email with the attachment.

Can I email directly instead?

Sure: lex@lexfriedman.com. The form just routes there with a tidier subject line.
