Information we collect
None. Pinball Whiz! does not require an account and does not collect personal information. We do not ask for, or receive, your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not link anything to your Apple ID, your device ID, your advertising identifier, or any other identifier that could be used to recognize you.
No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking
The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no usage telemetry. It does not count your taps, log which parts you place or how many launches it takes you, or send any record of how you play to us or to anyone else. We do not operate a server that receives data from the app, and there is nothing to opt out of because nothing is being sent.
Information stored on your device
Your preferences, like your machine theme and soundtrack, and your progress, like which puzzles you’ve solved and the stars you’ve earned, are stored locally on your device using the operating system’s standard on-device storage. This information never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed when you delete the app.
In-app purchases
If you buy Pinball Whiz Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, or payment details. The app only learns from Apple, on your device, whether Pro is unlocked. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Links out of the app
If you tap a link inside the app, it opens in Apple’s App Store or your web browser. Anything that happens there is governed by that service’s own privacy policy, including Apple’s. The app itself doesn’t send anything along with the link.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contact information.
- We do not collect your location or any geolocation data.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, or camera.
- We do not collect your Apple ID, advertising identifier (IDFA), or other persistent device identifiers.
- We do not use advertising networks or analytics SDKs that track you across apps.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. There is none to share.
Contacting us
If you choose to contact us through our support page or by email at lex@lexfriedman.com, we will of course see your email address and the content of your message. We use that only to respond to you. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share your email with anyone.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act compliance
The app collects no information from anyone, including children under 13. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to maintain, disclose, or delete.
California Online Privacy Protection Act compliance
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not distribute personal information to outside parties, primarily because we don’t collect any to begin with.
Information for European Union users
Because Pinball Whiz! does not collect personal data, GDPR data-subject requests (access, deletion, portability) would return nothing about you. Your on-device settings and progress stay on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page and the “Effective” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the app after a change constitutes your acceptance of it.
